Body modification with Bloody Mary by the Twisted Twins. It sounds a lot, has some interesting ideas and views on board, but it shouldn't have a name all in all. Enough potential with this scene, but the ladies want way too much and bring way too little.
For example, it lugs quite a lot of plot with it that is crammed together in just over an hour and a half. It comes across as a collection of scenes or events that have been pasted together and thus have to pass for a story. There is hardly any flow in the film. It stutters.
The tone also flies in all directions. Maybe next time the sisters can make a clearer choice between tinkering with their lead role and taking full advantage of the setting. Now neither of them comes to fruition and some attempts at black, freaky humor fall into the water.
Something that should be possible in this world. Making a rape look painful doesn't seem that difficult to me either. It's not in it. The biggest downer is that it lends itself completely to juicy body horror, but every time it comes down to it, it hardly dares to show anything.

Watched this movie and didn't know what to expect. Still an intriguing story and despite the theme it is not so bloody.
The cast actually didn't do too bad and other than that it looked fine.
It was something different, thought it was not bad and sometimes worth seeing.

A bizarre and striking film with the wonderful scream queen Katharine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps trilogy, Freddy vs Jason, Bad times at the El Royale) between a slasher and a revenge film. Not very special in itself, but it knows how to put itself into perspective and convinces with the necessary gross and bizarre scenes. Gradually it doesn't quite know how to finish it all, but the rest is entertaining. A nice mix of horror and humor.
